National Museum of Singapore

I visited the National Museum of Singapore only quite recently after it was renovated and re-opened to the public early this year. I was definitely very impressed with the new building. However, some of the old features were lost... Well, that's how it is here in Singapore where developments and improvements are strongly emphasised.

a.R.AH / Kemana??? - Part II

a.R.A.H / Kemana??? was put up at the Taman Warisan Negara (Malay Heritage Centre) on 14 & 15 August 2004. The efforts by everyone involved in this production really paid off when we received very good and positive comments. Indeed, it is an achievement for Majlis Pusat-Teater Titisan...

I must say that I truly enjoy and cherish every single moment spent in that production! It definitely was an worthwhile and great experience... :-> But like they always say... "Every good thing must come to an end".

Yet, I still couldn't believe that it has already ended... :-S

a.R.A.H / kemana???

That's the title of the upcoming Malay production, which translated in English means 'Which Direction???'. It will be staged at the Taman Warisan Negara (Malay Heritage Centre, Singapore) soon.

Here are some photos taken during our recent make-up session... Now... I know that I look strange, weird and silly but if you wish to add more comments about how I look, then you better forget it! :-O

Hahaha :P

East Coast Beach - July 05, 2004 Part II

Well... here is just a continuation of my findings (heh heh! Sounds like some kind of academician, eh?)

Interestingly, I wouldn't be surprised if the physical landscape of the East Coast beach undergoes many more changes. It is clear that the reclaimed land area is subjected to strong waves. The warning signs of danger to stay away from the unstable coastline is quite prevalent as you walk along the beach.

Hmmm... looks like the beach area might be reduced drastically sooner or later as a result of such natural processes...

East Coast Beach - July 05, 2004

Since young, I have always loved going to the East Coast beach. I would either jog or cycle from where I lived to the beach almost every evening. But my visit becomes more infrequent since I moved out of Bedok area about more than five years ago...

I always enjoy being close to the waters. It always gives me a sense of joy as I watch the waves dance before me. And it certainly overwhelms me with such serenity as the winds that blow across my face sing songs of freedom and jubilation.

Anyway, I made my visit to the beach recently to look at the extent and changes to the surrounding beach and here are my findings...
